Setting Families Up for Success: Understanding the Breastfeeding Newborn & Building Early Confidence
Discover the difference of a deeper understanding and become the trusted source of support your breastfeeding clients deserve.
To
help spread the word about the meaningful impact our Integrative
Breastfeeding Educator Program is making on families worldwide, the
International Parenting Health Institute is offering a Continuing
Education excerpt.
This
exclusive preview "Setting Families Up for Success", gives you a glimpse
into the heart of our program, with a focus on one of the most
overlooked yet powerful aspects of breastfeeding success: understanding
the breastfeeding newborn.
Newborn behavior often surprises parents. What is “normal”
can feel confusing or even concerning without the right context. In
this course, we explore how infant behavior is driven by prolactin
levels and by building breastmilk supply. This insight is the single
best predictor of breastfeeding success. Beyond positioning and latch,
knowing when and why to feed your baby empowers parents with confidence.
This understanding builds a strong foundation for a rewarding
breastfeeding journey.
Get an
inside look at how we set families up for success, and how we support
our graduates by doing the same. We have included in this excerpt our
specialized training on building a successful, sustainable business in
the field of holistic coaching. This is more than continuing
education, it’s an investment in your professional growth.
Who is this course for: Doulas, Childbirth Educators, Midwives, Nurses, Physicians...This course was made for you! If you are a Breastfeeding Advocate that has difficulty finding the words to express it, you are not alone. We hear this all the time from Birth Professionals in every scope of practice, who want to support their clients to breastfeed, but they don´t know how. And it is true, breastfeeding is a relatively simple act, that is rather difficult to talk about. Where other programs give you a wealth of knowledge, we also give you the language to use it. In this course you will gain the skills, confidence, and credentials to be the trusted source of support your clients deserve.
About this course: Coming on the heels of the Baby-Friendly Initiative we were energized and inspired by the nationwide change we saw in those long-standing hospital practices that had been completely undermining and impeding breastfeeding success. Today, obstructed by neither policy nor practice, breastfeeding initiation rates are now reaching all time highs. And due to the efforts of that one single mission. In alignment with the Baby-Friendly initiative, change motivated through education is the model on which we chose to base the Integrative Breastfeeding Educator Certification Program.
